Dr.Camille Pellegrino DDS

Camille R. Pellegrino graduated Summa Cum Laude from Missouri Southern State University in 2011 with a bachelor’s degree in BioChemistry. She then received her Doctorate in Dental Surgery from the University of Missouri—Kansas City in 2015. 

Dr. Pellegrino was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and followed her maternal grandfather’s footsteps in becoming a general dentist with a passion for public health. James J. Calderone, DDS PH.d, graduated from St. Louis University School of Dentistry in 1958. In 1975, Dr. Calderone became the Director of Dental Programs for the State of New Mexico establishing a water fluoridation program state-wide and publishing research on the state’s sealant program.
 
For over five years, Dr. Pellegrino served in public health as a general dentist at Ben Archer Health Center located outside of Las Cruces, New Mexico. This clinic serves agricultural industry workers and underserved populations. The pandemic, Dr. Pellegrino kept sanity by becoming certified to teach yoga 200YTT. She looks forward to integrating relaxation and mindfulness techniques into her work as a dentist, making her patients’ dental experience more enjoyable. 

 

In 2021 Dr. Pellegrino continued in public health but moved back to Missouri while working at McCoy Samples Mattingly out of Chillicothe. Most recently, she has been serving the population of Independence as a part of Swope Health Services.  

Dr. Pellegrino is thrilled to be given the opportunity to work with the amazing teams at Grain Valley Family Dental and Odessa Family Dental in serving their community of patients. 
She enjoys her free time in the many local restaurants, music venues and parks this gorgeous city has to offer.
